"Art when really understood is the province of every human being.

It is simply a question of doing things, anything, well. It is not an outside, extra thing.

When the artist is alive in any person, whatever his kind of work may be, he becomes an inventive, searching, daring self-expressing creature. He becomes interesting to other people. He disturbs, upsets, enlightens, and he opens ways for a beter understanding. Where those who are not artists are trying to close the book, he opens it, shows there are still more pages possible.

The world would stagnate without him, and the world would be beautiful with him; for he is interesting to himself and he is interesting to others. He does not have to be a painter or sculptor to be an artist. He can work in any medium He simply has to find the gain in the work itself, not outside it." - Robert Henri, excerpted from The Art Spirit, page one.

My Degree is in Printmaking, with Intensive Studies in Photography and Digital Imaging - still and motion, in 2D and 3D.

My personal explorations of Art have spanned, as well as most of my lifetime.

Art is more than the expression, more than the multi-facetted imparting of concept; Art bounds material and spiritual space in beauty and wonder.

Creativity is many things. I believe creativity is wonderful to share, will improve any endeavor when well implemented, is fundamental to innovation, can add quality to anything - even if only by appreciation, is necessary and enhancing as a part of life, and is more even than all this - we are all "created."

Creating art strengthens my spirit like oxygen does my respiratory system - vitally improving my ability to perform.

If you would like to see more of my work, please feel free to contact me and arrange to do so.

I have worked in many media and styles. Some of my recent photography is linked to the rignt.
I have more recent work published here, online, and have been preparing to publish my poetry as well.

One of the wonders of the Fine Arts is The Infinite. Signified, and potentially doubled, by the understanding of "Absence" as compositional element.
